It’s fun to hear the variety of traditions families have. For my family, we are traditional. We love the traditional turkey dinner. Our day is spent eating, cleaning up, playing games, eating again, and probably watching movies in the evening. When my sister and her family join us, we usually do a little black Friday shopping together and decorate for Christmas throughout the holiday weekend. This year we will enjoy the Christmas lights in Oak Park as well. Even though my traditions seem “typical”, they are important to us and we will always remember how we spend the holiday and who we spend it with.
If you don’t have any, create some. It’s never too late to begin new traditions with your family. It’s important and can carry on for generations. If you are considering selling your home or you are looking for a new home, please feel free to call me at any time at 701-721-6455.
